PURPOSE:To improve debugging operation efficiency by mounting a ROM on an auxiliary package which is connectable to the socket of a ROM mounting package in parallel, and designing firmware, then moving the ROM to the ROM mounting package. CONSTITUTION:A package 1 for ROMs constituting the firmware mounts ROM sockets and is connected to a back board through plural connectors 3 to supply signals and electric power. The auxiliary package 5 which mounts connectors 6 and IC sockets 7 connectable with the ROM sockets 5 mounted on the package 1 and is provided with a RAM writing interface connector 8 is mounted symmetrically with the ROM package 1 mounted on the ROM package 1, and ROMs for the firmware are mounted on the IC sockets 7 to complete the designing of the firmware; and then the ROMs mounted on the auxiliary package 5 are moved and mounted on the ROM package 1. |
