PURPOSE:To perform the excavation of a large-diameter pit without noise and vibration by a method in which excavation is made under a soil discharge guide cylinder inside a guide cylinder by means of an earth auger, and while discharging soil through the soil discharge guide cylinder to outside, the excavation is continued to a given depth in the guide cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A combination of a soil discharge guide cylinder 6 and a screw type earth auger 7 thrusting the cylinder 6 is inserted into an excavation guide cylinder 1. The cylinder 6 is turned with the same speed as the cylinder 1 in the same direction, and the auger 7 is turned in the opposite direction to penetrate it into the ground 5 to be excavated. Excavated soil in a large-diameter pit inside the cylinder 1is smoothly discharged through the small-diameter soil discharge guide cylinder 6 thrusting the cylinder 1 to the outside. Large-diameter pits can thus be performed continuously and effectively by using the screw type earth auger safely and exactly. |
