Grooves (26), Fig. 2 (not shown), are formed on the inner side of each plate in register with the meshing teeth. In another embodiment, Figs. 7 and 8, each plate 13', 14' has seals 68.....74 on its outer side to separate the pockets from one another and passages 75 communicating with the gear-tooth spaces. Passages 76, 77 equalize pressures on opposite sides of the annular members 23' and the bearings. |
