PURPOSE:To display precisely received signal from all directions on a display device independently of the intensity of a signal level by setting an amplification control characteristic or an attenuation rate control characteristic in accordance with the arrival direction of each received signal. CONSTITUTION:The direction of a directional receiving beam formed by a beam formation circuit 2 is controlled by a direction control circuit 3, the beam is led into an attenuator 4 and the receiving beam directed in a specific direction out of the directional receiving beams is more attenuated as compared with other directional receiving beams. An attenuation control circuit 5 switches the combination of the attenuator 4 in accordance with the directional data of the receiving beam specified by the circuit 3. The output of the attenuator 4 is sent to a display device 7 and picture elements are scanned by a picture element scanning circuit 8, which interlocks with the circuit 3 to scan the picture elements. Therefore, the receiving beam sent from the circuit 2 is displayed on the corresponding azimuth position on the display screen of the display device 7. |
