PURPOSE:To keep properly wet conditions all the time by a method in which an U-shaped trench with a plate having through holes on the shoulder side and the upside of the sloped face is provided, and soil is placed on a space formed L-shaped plates set on the shoulder side to plant tree. CONSTITUTION:Through holes B are provided in the lower part of the side of an U-shaped trench 3, and a water-stop plate 4 inclined toward the rear side is attached to both ends in the longitudinal direction of the trench 3. The trench 3 on which a plate 5 is set in such a way as to position the through holes A inclined along the slope of the plate 4 upwards is provided in the contact point between the berm portion 2 and the rear portion of the slope. The space 11 between the trench 3 and the slope 30 is embedded with soil, L-shaped plates 9 are set on the top portion, and fixed with anchor pins 10, and a water- permeable layer 7 of gravels, etc., is formed between the plates 9 and the trench 3. Soil is placed on the layer 7 to form a growth base 6, shrubs 1 are planted on the base 6, and a mat 8, e.g., straw mat, etc., is laid on them. The withering of plant due to root decaying and drying can thus be prevented. |
