In the mobile warning-light and directing device for road traffic, which comprises a vertical panel (2) with arrow-like colour strips (22/23) and with several electric lamps (37/60), and which has a rotatable white arrow body (27) on a white-edged blue board (25), a lamp carrier (32) constructed like an arrow is arranged above the white arrow body (27) in the upper half of the panel (2), likewise on the rear side of the panel, such that it can pivot through 90 DEG about a horizontal axis. The lamp carrier has two arrow legs (33, 34) at right angles or at an acute angle to each other and an arrow shaft (35) bisecting the angle, which legs and shaft are each provided with several lamps (37) arranged in lines. The upper half (21) of the panel (2) can be folded about a horizontal axis together with the lamp carrier (32). The lower arrow body (27) and the lamp carrier (32) are connected to each other by a gear mechanism so that they can be adjusted together in each case. <IMAGE>
