The invention relates to a system for projection in the overhead projection method, consisting of a table, on the table plate of which the transparent writing plate of an overhead projector is mounted, and which supports the support arm for the lens and the deflecting mirror. It is the object of the invention to provide a system for projection in the overhead projection method which can be configured in a versatile fashion capable of arbitrary extension. The invention consists in that the basic unit of this system is composed of a table having a hollow foot which is arranged below the writing plate and accommodates the light source of the overhead projector.
