PURPOSE:To prevent the nonuniformity in the quality of the embossed surface of a photosensitive material and the glitter arising therefrom and to obtain the stable surface having the uniform quality by disposing a nonphotosensitive layer contg. a matt ant on the outermost layer on an emulsion coated surface side. CONSTITUTION:A titled photosensitive material is formed by providing at least one layer of a silver halide emulsion layer and at least one layer of a nonphotosensitive layer on a base and disposing the nonphotosensitive layer contg. the matt agent on the outermost layer on the emulsion coated surface side. The coated surface side of the base is embossed and a high-boiling org. solvent having <=5.0 specific dielectric constant is preferably incorporated into the nonphotosensitive layer on the base side adjacent to the nonphotosensitive layer on the above-described outermost layer. The glitter arising from the nonuniformity in the quality of the photosensitive material surface subjected to the embossing is prevented by providing such matt agent layer on the outermost layer and the bleeding of the solvent and the sticking of the photosensitive material are prevented and the deterioration in the gloss with the matt agent is improved by incorporating the high-boiling org. solvent having <=5.0 specific dielectirc constant into the outermost layer adjacent to the base side. The photosensitive material preferable as a material for printing is thus obtd.
