PURPOSE:To make it possible to apply high quality recording to plain paper in the same way as an ink jet system by a simple visible image forming process, by uniformly charging recording paper by injecting liquid droplets by a liquid jet head and forming an electrostatic latent image by the removal of liquid droplets. CONSTITUTION:Liquid droplets 3 are injected corresponding to an image signal by a liquid jet head 2. Herein, this liquid jet head 2 is one for injecting a liquid such as water having a high volatilizing or evaporating property and low viscosity as liquid droplets 3. Next, the surface of recording paper is uniformly charged to + polarity by a charging device so as to include the parts to which liquid droplets 3 were adhered. Thereafter, because the liquid droplets 3 begin to volatilize or evaporate to be removed, the charge of the parts having the liquid droplets 3 adhered thereto is removed to form a negative electrostatic latent image 6. This electrostatic latent image is fed to a developing part 8 to form a visible image 9. |
