RECORDED DISK REPRODUCER

PURPOSE:To attain reproduction of 2 types of disks having different diameters through a normal operation by providing a shift means which shifts a base holding a disk holding mechanism and a cover hook mechanism within a reproducer. CONSTITUTION:A base 70 holding a disk holding mechanism 53 and a cover hook mechanism 54 is supported movably by a roll 203. A pinion 201 which is driven by a motor 202 engages a rack 200 attached to the base 70. A case for a small diameter storing a disk for a small diameter has the smaller depth than a normal case. Then a changeover switch 205 is switched to drive the motor 202. Thus the base 70 is shifted to obtain the coincidence between the center of the disk and that of a turntable. Thus the reproduction is possible with a normal operation even with a case of a small diameter.
