PURPOSE:To prevent leakage of resin, which is generated under the condition of mold opening, by a method wherein a manifold is slid by the closing and opening motions of the multistage metal mold to remove the remaining pressure of molten resin, which is generated in the metal mold. CONSTITUTION:Springs 17, 18 are reciprocated along stud bolts by the closing and opening motions of a mold and, whereby, the manifold heads 13, 14 are slid. The manifold head 13 of a central block A is contacted with the manifold 14 of a fixed block B under the condition of mold closing and, whereby, resin flowing path 11 is connected. Thus manifolds are separated under the condition of mold opening and the resin flowing path 11 is intercepted. The spring 17 of the central block A is restored and the manifold head 13 is slid forward. In the same manner, the spring 18 of the fixed block B is also restored and the manifold head 17 is slid forward. As a result, spaces C, D are produced in the resin flowing path of the manifold. Then, the molten resin, being compressed in the resin flow path, is moved into the spaces C, D and, thus, the remaining pressure may be removed. |
