PURPOSE:To support and fix a rubber-like body to transfer and mount it onto an article to be mounted by stinging a needle into the soft rubber-like body. CONSTITUTION:Caps C are oriented by a parts feeder 4 and supplied to a supplying section 5, thereafter, are supported and fixed by stinging needles N provided at the tip end of an air cylinder 3. Another air cylinder 2 is located vertically and is lifted up from the supply section 5 after stinging the needles N into the oriented caps C. The air cylinder 2 is rotated by 90 deg. by an air motor to shift the cap to a position whereat the cap C is mounted to the tubular body 6 of the article 1 to be mounted. then, bonding agent is blown against the cap C by a bonding agent coating device 7 and, thereafter, the cap C is mounted to the tubular body 6. Next, the needle N is extracted under pushing the cap C by an extractor 9. Thereafter, the extractor 9 is separated from the cap C by operating the air cylinder 2. |
