<p>Gas generator with a series of charges of solid fuel partic. in the form of a hollow burner, at least the front charge of which reacts with a liq. hyper gel oxidant applied to this charge only for the production initially of oxygen-rich gases and/or vapours which flow over the remaining solid fuel and progressively remove it by stoichiometric reaction, the special characteristic of this arrangement being that at least the front fuel charge has, apart from its ignitability by the oxidant, a relatively higher mechanical strength than the succeeding fuel charges with respect to the dynamic flow effects of the oxidant.</p> |
