PURPOSE:To increase a printing speed by shortening a printing time as a whole, by controlling a time by the use condition of the preceding printing data. CONSTITUTION:The printing of one line (24 dots X 1 dot) is performed in synchronous relation to a timing signal 53 generated in order to drive a CD motor. There are two thermal element lines and one of them takes charge of the printing of even number lines while the other one takes charge of the printing of odd number lines and the supply of a current is alternately performed. The printing of one line is performed in four kinds of modes at every dot by the presence or absence of two-ahead printing and that of the preceding printing. 58A-60A are respectively correction data or printing data having to supply a current for periods of TX1, TXY, TX2 and 54A-57A show supply current wave form in four modes. |
