PURPOSE:To smoothly perform the quick feeding of large diametered paper roll by enabling the changing-over f a roll paper driving speed by detecting the slackening amount of slacked paper, by enabling the two-step changing-over of the roll paper driving speed and providing a moving bar, which is freely movable in an up-and-down directions, between a platen part and a roll paper driving part. CONSTITUTION:A moving bar 5, which is lightly downwardly energized under its own wt. or by a spring and made freely movable up and down by a guide groove 4, is provided between a rotary shaft 1 and a platen roller 3 and paper A is allowed to make a round by the moving bar 5 to provide slackening B to said paper A. The moving amount of the moving bar 5, that is, the slackening amount of the paper is detected by a photoelectric level sensor 6 and, during a time when the slackening amount is little, a drive means 2 is rotated at a high speed and,when the slackening amount exceeds a set value and the light of the level sensor 6 is blocked, a roll paper delivery drive means 6 is changed over to a low speed. |
