<p>PURPOSE:An air ionizing device useful for cultivating plants, breeding domestic animals, etc., obtained by setting a vacuum discharge tube having a sealed sawtoothed electron emission electrode core in the center and a cylindrical receiver electrode material at the outside of it concentrically, applying high voltage to between both electrodes to effect corona discharge. CONSTITUTION:The vacuum discharge tube 4 having the sealed sawtoothed electron emission electrode core 1 at the center and the cylindrical receiver electrode material 2 at the outside of the vacuum discharge tube 4 are set concentrically. Then, high voltage is applied to between both electrodes, ozone(O3<->) is generated through the medium of oxygen in air, generated ozone (O3<->) is collided against molecules in air, to form activated O<-> and O2<->. For example, when plants are cultivated by the use of this air ionizing device, ozone(O3<->) destroys various germs living in plants and oxygen ionized in nega tive promotes growth of plants.</p> |
