PURPOSE:To mass-produce electroacoustic transducers by forming grooves throughout the outside of a part where a sound discharging hole should be formed and providing a projection extending to the outside from the part surrounded with this groove and omitting the labor that a waterproof seal cap is stuck preliminarily. CONSTITUTION:Ring-shaped grooves 12a and 12b are formed on front and rear faces in the center part of a cap 12 of an electroacoustic transducer to make this part thin, and a projection 12c is provided in the part surrounded with the groove 12a as one body. This projection 12c is taken with a hand and is pulled in the direction of an arrow, and the part whose thickness is locally small by grooves 12a and 12b is ripped to form the sound discharging hole. Before the cap 2 is attached to a case 13 provided with a diaphragm 14, an electric circuit part 15, and a terminal 16, the case is set to a jig 17 similar to the cap 12 with the sound discharging part removed to confirm operating sounds, and thus, the number of production processes is reduced to improve the productivity. |
