Compounds of formula (I): <IMAGE> (I) (wherein R1 represents a hydrogen or halogen atom R2 represents an alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, optionally substituted aralkyl or optionally substituted aryl group and A represents a sulphur atom or a sulphinyl or sulphonyl group) have insecticidal and acaricidal activity and, when formulated in suitable compositions for agricultural or horticultural use, can be used to protect plants from attack by insects or acarids.
