<p>The machine comprises an endless chain (1) with vertical pins, in which one link in two rotationally carries a plate for receiving a cheese, these plates being uneven in number on the chain. At the station (2), one plate in two is loaded. The cheeses are passed through the spraying chamber (3), where their upper face and the top part of their periphery are sprayed with a suitable product, and then through the drier (4) before arriving at the discharge station (5), designed to discharge one cheese in two and which is then inoperative. Said cheeses are returned to the station (6), pass through (2) again, but at the moment when the latter is inoperative pass into the machine again to have their other adjacent face and periphery sprayed with the product, and arrive at (5) which discharges them (arrow 8).
