PURPOSE:To improve the environment in a factory and to reduce equipment cost by providing a tunnel having open parts at the front and rear to a line for the post treatment of casting molds and disposing an intake port for a discharge fan to the inside of the tunnel. CONSTITUTION:The open parts 3a are provided to the front and rear of the tunnel 3 enclosing the post treating stage line 2 for the casting molds and air curtains 5 are disposed to the inlet and outlet thereof. The intake port 4a of the discharge fan 4 is opened in the upper part in the middle of the tunnel 3. Knockedout upper and lower molds W are oscillated on an oscillating table 8 to transfer the molding sand and castings to a discharge conveyor 9. The molds W are transferred on the line 2. The molds W are cooled by cooling fluid and since the heat, smoke, dust, etc. generated in the line 2 are shut off by the air sucked by the fan 4, the environment in the factory is improved. The smaller capacity of the discharge fan is required and therefore the equipment and running costs are reduced. |
