A procedure is described for preparing a sanitized component of a tissue adhesive, consisting of fibrinogen, F XIII and, if necessary, albumin, and also, if necessary, a plasmin inhibitor, in which a fibrinogen solution is heated to at least 55 degree C for at least an hour, in the presence of a saccharide or a sugar-alcohol and an amino acid as well as at least one gram-atom of calcium ions per mole of fibrinogen, the fibrinogen is separated and dissolved, and F XIII is added, a compound with the urea or guanidine group and/or an amino acid with a hydrophobic side chain or a water-soluble fatty acid and, if necessary, albumin and also a plasmin inhibitor, and heating is continued until dry. From said preparation a solution can be produced which contains at least 6 g/100 ml of fibrinogen and which is suitable for preparing a tissue adhesive.
|
