PURPOSE:To elevate the life of a grindstone and work efficiency with preventing a slight waviness at machine by bearing the grindstone holder fixing a grindstone freely in advancing and retreating to a frame via a guide roller and by enabling the prevention of the chattering of a grindstone at the grinding time. CONSTITUTION:The rolling roll grinding device is made with providing the frame 10 being fit in plural sets along the longitudinal direction of the roll 3 movably in reciprocation by the grindstone holder 11 having the press mechanism 24 pressing the grindstone 15 being fit at the tip onto the surface of a rolling roll 3. Said grindstone 15 is fixed attachably and detachably against the holder 11 by a clamp mechanism 24. Guide rollers 114, 115 bearing the holder 11 freely in advancing and retreating are provided on the frame 10 as well.
