PURPOSE:To perform easily and in short time the calking of a cylindrical material solidly and uniformly with equal force from the peripheral face by constituting a pair of square dies with the means approaching and separating relatively and four divided dies. CONSTITUTION:A calking part is made to be contained into the caliber 14 being constituted of the arcuate faces 13a-13d of divided dies 12a-12d with assembling the movable side and fixed side of the calking device for the calking part. A compressing square die 10b at the movable side is then moved to the side of a fixed plate 5 and the compressing square die 10a at fixed side together with a movable plate 7 with the operation of a hydraulic jack 8. The calking part is pinched between divided dies 12b, 12d, the divided die 12a is descended and divided die 12c is ascended with the approaching movement of the square die 10b, and the calking part is pressed from the whole periphery by four divided dies 12a-12d. The calking part is calked with nearly uniform force in the peripheral direction and all armoring wires are combined with calking to a sleeve member solidly. |
