<p>The pressure filter consists of a body in two parts, the lower, in which the filter cloth is situated, being lowered by cylinder. - Cylinder controls closure of clamp. Evacuation of the lower part is controlled by valve. Valve admits air for drying the filter cake. The sludge to be filtered enters through pipe controlled by inlet valve. Air is passed in through valve to create pressure in cylinder. Valve is for release of air (decompression).</p> |
