<p>The equipment consists of a feeder which supplies a continuous paper strip unrolled at a steady rate to enter the machine bed; a charging device to deposit an expandable material, obtd. from an isocyanate-polyol mixt., over the paper strip, using compressed air to emulsify the mixt., the device being displaced transversely across the moving strip to distribute the expandable material in a regular zig-zag pattern; and a second feeder which supplies a second strip of paper, applied by guide to cover the first paper strip.
