A conveyor belt has transverse tracks on its outside, extending over the complete belt width, and which themselves have a width somewhat greater than that of the stored objects. The belt has an upper part extending through the container so that objects can be picked up in its tracks. A displacement belt has a lower part, the plane of which is parallel to that for the upper part of the conveyor belt, and extends inclined over a part of the conveyor width. On it are displacers which engage in the conveyor belt tracks, so that when both belts move forward synchronously the objects on the conveyor belt tracks are moved sideways to form rows one behind the other at one end of the tracks.
|
