PURPOSE:To perform another transaction without terminating or stopping a transaction halfway by providing a control circuit which controls switching between the current registered transaction and the interrupt transaction. CONSTITUTION:In case that goods are registered for the transaction of a customer B during the transaction of a customer A, A transaction holding key out of function keys is depressed to indicate interrupt of transaction. A transaction interrupt control circuit 7 detects the occurrence of the interrupt of the transaction and instructs a control part 3 to execute processings such as saving of transaction data executed at present, erasing of display, etc. to make it possible to register goods for the customer B. When a transaction end key out of function keys is depressed after goods data is registered, a receipt for the customer B is issued from a printing part 6 to terminate the transaction of the customer B. When an interrupt release key out of function keys is depressed, the transaction of the customer A is continued. |
