PURPOSE:To make the number of interfaces between TDM (time division multiple connection system) and PM smaller than conventional system by providing a selector that selects a group of timing signals in a time division multiple connecting section that makes common action to various kinds of port modules of different speed inserted to each slave station, supplying designated information from each port module PM to the selector, and selecting a group of timing signals that fit for each port module. CONSTITUTION:In TDMA section 1, which is a common section, n sets of group of timing signals T1, T2...Tn required by n-kinds of inserted PM are prepared. These groups of timing signals T1, T2...Tn are inputted to a n:1 selector 2 (SEL). When PM3 is inserted, information N designating the group of timing signals to be selected is inputted from PM, and a group of timing signals Tm is selected and outputted according to this information. That is, by adding the selector 2 to the TDMA section 1 and obtaining the designated information N from PM3, the TDMA section is enabled to divide n kinds of PM. |
