FARADY ROTATOR TYPE VARIABLE POWER DISTRIBUTOR

PURPOSE:To reduce the frequency dependency of a Farady rotary angle by replacing a rod ferrimagnetic body into a conductor rod loading cylindrical ferrimagnetic body. CONSTITUTION:The rod ferrimagnetic body 5 is replaced into the cylindrical ferrimagnetic body 12 loaded with a conductor rod 11. Through the structure above, an electromagnetic field is concentrated in the cylindrical ferrimagnetic body 12 between a conductor rod 11 and a tip of a ridge 5. Thus, the cut-off frequency is decreased and the change in lambda/lambdag (ratio of a free space wavelength to a guide wavelength) due to frequency is smaller than that of a conventional case without conductor rod loading. Thus, the frequency dependency of the Farady rotary angle is reduced.
