PURPOSE:To improve the processing efficience by providing an input/output controller with a means, which executes channel commands having operation functions, to extend the rage where the processing is performed only b a channel and the input/output controller independently. CONSTITUTION:An input/output controller 4 of a data processor is provided with an input/output storage part 42 for operation and an input/output operating part 41. A program for operation processing based on a specific comad sent from a channel 3 and data are stored in the input/output storage part 42. Hereafter, each time the input/output controller 4 receives a command from the channel, the input/output operating part 41 reads out data from the input/output storage part 42 to execute the operation processing in accordance with contents of the command. |
