PURPOSE:To expand the life of a scraper and to prevent the surface of a sleeve from the generation of a flaw by peeling off a developer magnetically without mechanical sliding on the surface of the sleeve. CONSTITUTION:When a sampling developer is fed from a developer carrying plate 3 and the developer on the surface of the sleeve 5 reaches a space between a conductive glass 11 and the sleeve 5, toner incorporated in the developer is adhered to the glass 11 and developed. The density is detected by detecting the light radiated from a light emitting element 12 by a photodetecting element 13 through the glass 11, and then the developed 22 containing the toner adhered to the sleeve 5 again is magnetically adsorbed by a scraping net 20. The developer 22 collected by the magnetic adsorption is made to flow out from a discharge port formed on a blacket 21 and returned to a blender part in the developing machine. |
