PURPOSE:To contrive improvement in the capacity of a transformer by a method wherein a capacitor of specific capacitance is connected between the phases (b) and (c) and the phases (c) and (a). CONSTITUTION:In the V-connection transformer having a transformer in a-b phase and c-a phase and the phase rotation in a-b-c direction, a capacitor is connected between (b) and (c) phases, and a capacitor having the capacitance approximately twice the above-mentioned capacitor is connected between phases (c) and (a). As a result, in the range of usage of an ordinary transformer, the compensation of power factor and the compensation of the rate of usage can be performed, thereby enabling to improve the power which is obtained from the transformer. |
