PURPOSE:To prevent flection of an electron beam acceleration electrode to improve the quality of picture, by furnishing plural round bars in grooves arranged on a fixing frame isolated from other electrodes, and fixing them with spot-welding in order to form the electron beam acceleration electrode. CONSTITUTION:When a picture display device is formed, at first, a rearside electrode 41, a cathode 42, and a vertical focusing electrode 46 are fixed in a frame 47 of a workable crystallized glass, and at the upper part of it, a unit C made by baking up and combining a vertical focusing electrode 44, electron beam flow control electrode 45, horizontal focusing electrode 46, etc., is inserted. Then, an electron beam acceleration electrode 48, consisting of a steel frame on which plural round bars 50 are placed in V grooves and fixed by spot-welding with thin plates 51, with a screen 52 on the top, is located and installed on the glass frame 47. Thus rigidity of the acceleration electrode 48 is increased, flection when voltage is applied is prevented, and a high quality of picture can be acquired. |
