PURPOSE:To prevent the breaking of an exhaust tube for processing internal air exhausting work smoothly, and when sealing an electrode and a exhaust tube into an opening of one end of a glass tube, by performing the sealing so as to set a bar body, consisted of the material of un-familiarized with glass, into the exhaust tube. CONSTITUTION:When a bulb is formed, which is U-type or double U-type, etc., used as an electric lamp type fluorescent lamp, an U-type tube 15' is made by bending a straight bulb into curved one, and a phosphor membrane 16 is provided on its internal surface, and after that, at the opening of its one end portion, arranging an electrode 17, which has the regulated space with a glass bead 17a, and an exhaust tube 18 made of lead glass, having a set bar body 19, consisted of stainless steel, etc., having higher softening point compared with glass and the quality of the material of un-familiarized with glass, and fixing them by pinching one end of the bulb, which is softened by heating, and after that, the bar body 19 is removed so as to take out. Therefore, the breaking of the exhaust tube 18 during pinching is prevented, and the later processing work such as air exhausting and gas sealing can be progressed smoothly. |
