PURPOSE:To obtain a toner for developing electrostatic charge images having the excellent resistance to sticking to soft PVC by incorporating a specific resin and olefin polymer into the toner for which a vinyl resin is used. CONSTITUTION:The resin used for the toner for developing electrostatic charge images has the hydroxyl group of 50-350(KOHmg/g). The sticking to the soft PVC cannot be prevented if the hydroxyl value is <50 and the electrostatic chargeability is poor if said value exceeds 350. The caking resistance under high humidity can be improved if the secondary hydroxyl group is used for >=60% of the hydroxyl group. The resin used is adjusted in the glass transition point to 20-100 deg.C. The caking resistance of the toner is poor if said point is <20 deg.C and the fixability is poor if said point exceeds 100 deg.C. The olefin poly mer consisting of PE or PP having 80-180 deg.C softening point or a mixture composed thereof is incorporated into the resin. The caking resistance of the toner is poor if the softening point is <80 deg.C and the effect of preventing the sticking to the soft PVC is not obtd. of said point exceeds 180 deg.C. |
