Mounting of CRT in TV receiver cabinet

The mounting of a CRT, in a cabinet is provided by clamping elements located at each corner. The tube has attached brackets (27) that are secured to the mounting frame (29) by self adjusting elements (42,39). The frame has threaded holes that receive a distance piece (39) that has an external threaded section and a bore (40). The clamping screw thread (41) has a sleeve (44) that is an interference fit in the bore. During assembly the distance piece is initially fully located in the hole. When the bolt is inserted and is rotated the distance piece unwinds until the bracket (27) is contacted. Further rotation causes the screw to locate in a threaded hole to provide clamping.
