The invention concerns a rotary hydraulic motor. This motor comprises a mobile structure which is mounted so as to rotate around an axle which is integral with a fixed support structure, the assembly being immersed in water. The mobile structure comprises at least two deformable airfilled containers, which are diametrically opposite to the said axle of rotation. Means are provided to permit modification of the volume of the said containers during the rotation of the mobile structure, so that on one side of the vertical passing through the said axle of rotation, the containers always have a volume larger than that which they occupy on the other side of the said vertical. The invention can be used for instance to drive an electric generator. <IMAGE>
