PURPOSE:To adjust the tension of a yarn by pressing a movable plate to a fixed plate by each pressure means to clamp a yarn and adjusting the tension of the yarn. CONSTITUTION:When air pressure is supplied to cylinders 12L, 12R through an air supply port 15, and an inner hole 14, a plate 7L is pushed up along a guide groove 9 of a main body 5 by the respective pistons 13L, 13R, and pressed toward an upper plate 7H to clamp a yarn TH between both plates 7H, 7L, whereby tension is applied by surface pressure thereof. Therefore, when air pressure to the air cylinders 12L, 12R is lowered according to the take-up amount of the yarn TH, the surface pressure is decreased extending over the full length of the plates 7H, 7L to smoothly decrease the tension of the yarn. |
