The present invention relates to an assembly method and a piece for connecting two transverse moulded elements 100, 200. The connection piece comprises a main body 11 equipped with locking means 31, 32 adapted in order to fit into chambers 124, 125 made in a first moulding, as well as fixing means 50, 70 ensuring the immobilisation of the connection piece 10 on a second moulding 200. The connection piece 10 is adapted in order to allow the insertion of a cross-member 100 between two uprights 200 which are parallel to one another and perpendicular to the cross-member 100, in the direction of a relative movement perpendicular to the elongation directions of these mouldings. <IMAGE>
