PURPOSE:To form a keen-edged and low projection in one process by applying photosensitive material to a roller surface member, disposing a plurality of insulator transparent portions, or reversely a mask on an opaque film, photosensitive-fixing the photosensitive material on the transport portions, washing away unfixed portions, and soaking the member in a corrosion liquid. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive material is applied to a thin plate roller surface member 16 formed by a material to be corroded, a mask 18 formed by disposing a lot of square transparent portions 18a on a black film regularly to be insular is placed on a photosensitive material layer, and light is applied to the member, so that the photosensitive material on the transparent portions 8a and portions where the mask 18 is not placed is exposed to light and fixed. Subsequently, the mask 18 is taken out, and the surface member 16 is washed, so that unfixed photosensitive material on the black portion of the mask 18 is washed away from the surface. When the surface member 16 is soaked in a corrosion liquid for a fixed time, corrosion is gradually progressed deeply from the portion 18b having no photosensitive material, so that the longitudinal section thereof is a round shape having the upper part thereof notched. Thus, a keen-edged projection 22 is formed at a portion where corrosion portions 20 contact each other by one process of etching. |
