PURPOSE:To obtain a device which take measurement of distance in its circumference by allowing a reflecting mirror for laser light to rotate freely in two axial directions. CONSTITUTION:The reflecting mirror 19 which reflects laser light from a laser light source 1 is allowed to rotate freely in the two axial directions. Then, the reflecting mirror 19 is so rotated that the optical path is on a plane formed of the reflecting mirror 19, a reflection point, and a photodetection part 9, and consequently the range is measured while a scan is made on a straight light in the internal surface of a wall 14. The laser light from the light source 1 is reflected by the reflecting mirror 19 and passed through a window 21, and reflected light from the wall 14 is detected by the photodetection part 20 through a window 22. Consequently, the distance of the peripheral wall 14 of a container is measured only by moving the reflecting mirror 19 without rotating a rack 10 nor the container 11, thereby shortening the measurement time. |
