PURPOSE:To execute a heat treatment which scarcely causes a dispersion of a quality characteristic by setting a carrying speed of a coil-shaped wire rod by a conveyor so that it can be changed by synchronizing with a rolling speed by a hot rolling mill, and maintaining a developing state of the coil-shaped wire rod so as to be constant. CONSTITUTION:A coil-shaped wire rod 12A which has been rolled by a hot finish rolling mill 10 is developed and carried on a belt conveyor 20, also an adjusting cooling is executed by a blowing fan 28 on the way of carrying, and a prescribed quality characteristic is obtained. Carrying speed of the coil-shaped wire rod 12A on STELLMORE-type conveyor 20 is set so that it can be changed by synchronizing with a rolling speed by the hot finish rolling mill 10, and a developing state of the coil-shaped wire rod 12A is maintained so as to be constant. |
