<p>The device is provided for the rolling or pressing of spiral drills from a preheated cylindrical blank (21) by means of squint profiled rollers (15) concentrically distributed at the periphery of the blank, delimiting a calibrated opening and driven by a common motor through a conical wheel gear and a cylindrical wheel gear. In order to provide a drive with the smallest posible play enabling a tool adjustment required by the wear without increasing the drive play, there is arranged, in the transmission of the motor power to the profile rollers (15) to arrange the conical wheel gear (9, 10) on the drive side behind the motor and the cylindrical wheel gear (11, 12, 13) for each profile roller (15) on the output side.</p> |
