摘要 A highly parallel computer architecture for ultra fast seismic migration by recursive wavefield extrapolation is proposed. The wavefield extrapolation is performed in the space-frequency domain because this domain allows independent treatment of all temporal frequencies and because this domain is the most flexible one for wavefield extrapolation. By distributing all controll signals systolically, the need for global communication is totally eliminated. The proposed structure can easily be extended to concurrent processing of any desired number of temporal frequencies. For the glass of extrapolation problems that can be formulated as band matrix-vector multiplications or space variant convolutions, the proposed structure can be completely decomposed into a single multiply-add cell which is used repetitively with simple interfaces.
