The engine flywheel magnets incorporate devices for generation of at least the voltage pattern for trigger control, such voltage being produced within a rotary angle interval of 30 deg. for the internal combustion engine. To define electrically (12) the limits of this interval, the voltage pattern controls a circuit (20) forming pulses and/or conditions (A,B) representing the commencement and termination of the interval. The closure flank (T) of the pulses and/or conditions control the triggering process (23,25,29,30,31) at the engine starting speed, and the commencement flank (L) of the pulses and/or conditions controls a circuit (23) for monitoring the pulse frequency. This circuit also controls a further circuit for the selection of the trigger timing at an engine speed above that for starting. The circuits controlling the commencement and termination flanks are inccrpcrated in a computer. (Provisional basic advised week 87/46) |
