PURPOSE:To minimize the capacity of a buffer resource by counting the number of requests every time each calling subscriber requests a mail box and rejecting the service request when the count value reaches a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:When a central controller 5 receives a mail box access request from telephone terminal sets 11, 12, whether or not a terminal device corresponding to a telephone terminal set exists in a terminal number area 61, after the count value corresponding to the terminal number is increased, whether or no the value reaches a prescribed value is discriminated. When the count reaches the prescribed value, the central controller 5 informs disabled connection to the telephone terminal set via a communication controller 7 without offering the mail box service to the telephone terminal set. |
