PURPOSE:To obtain a high-precision gap depth by providing a gap depth positioning groove and a gap depth measuring groove on the same core block with the same cutter in the same process. CONSTITUTION:Dimensions L' from an end face 4 to a dummy groove 3 worked on a core block half body 1a are measured, and a cutter used for working the groove 3 is fed by a dimension difference L-L' between a depth positioning groove 5 and the groove 3 to work the groove 5. Next, the cutter is fed by l-w obtained by subtracting a cut width (w) from a width l of the groove 5 to work a depth measuring groove 6. another block half body subjected to the similar working is joined to this core block half body la after a prescribed working, and they are cut into core chips 8, and a slider 9 is adhered to the core chip 8, and the surface of the slider 9 is worked in accordance with dimensions ld between the groove 6 and a slider lower face 10 and a gap depth gd. Thus, dimensions of grooves 5 and 6 are determined only by the feeding precision of a working machine, and the high-precision gap depth is obtained without influences of chipping of block end faces. |
