PURPOSE:To position a head with accuracy even when thermal skewness occurs at a mechanism part by correcting a position signal from a servo head and positioning the head based upon an output of a temperature sensor which detects temperature of the mechanism part including an actuator. CONSTITUTION:Servo data read at a servo head 3 which is loaded to an actuator 5 is given to a servo decoder 11 and a position signal is given to an adder circuit 12. An output of a temperature sensor 13 to detect temperature of a mechanism part of an actuator 5, etc., is inputted to an offset voltage generating circuit 14 and the output voltage is inputted to the adder circuit 12. The corrected position signal from the circuit 12 is inputted through a filter 15 and a driver 16 to an exciting coil 17 of the actuator 5 and the servo head 3 is positioned on a disk. Thus, even when thermal skewness occurs at the mechanism part, the head 3 is positioned accurately. |
