PURPOSE:To check the presence or absence of an error of the scan-in data prior to a scan-in action by adding the data for detection of faulty data to the scan-in data and monitoring said detection data. CONSTITUTION:The data to be scanned in is supplied to a parity bit adding circuit 1, and a bit obtained by securing an exclusive OR among all bits of said data is added to this data to be supplied in series to a flip-flop FF4 of a monitor circuit 2. The OR is secured successively between each bit of a bit train of the scan-in data and the output of an FF6 which sets successively the output value of an element 5 and delivers it. Thus the output of an AND element 7 is equal to 0 as long as the data is normal. Then the element 7 delivers 1 if a fault is detected. |
