PURPOSE:To produce efficiently a zigzag pipe by constituting an apparatus for producing the zigzag pipe of a stationary ring which rotates and axially slides crank shafts, an intermediate ring and a movable head projected with two bending rollers, grasping a pipe material between the bending rollers and executing continuously the bending operation. CONSTITUTION:A cam follower 15 rotates around the 2nd crank shaft 5 to turn clockwise the intermediate ring 8 around the bending roller 11a to bend the pipe material 17 to the right by the bending roller 11b when driving power is transmitted to a drive gear 13 while a crank arm 3 is held fitted into the 1st recess 7. The rollers 11a, 11b are then returned to the start point and the clamping mechanism holding the material 17 is detached. The material 17 is fed to the nest bending position and is clamped. The 1st crank shaft 4 is then lifted to fit the arm 3 into the 2nd recess of the ring 8, then the shaft 5 is united to the ring 8. When the gear 13 is turned counterclockwise, the ring 8 turns counterclockwise around the shaft 4 and the material 17 is bent to the left around the roller 11b. |
